Launch of Ballybeg Post Office

Since setting up scripted comedy development at Little Dot Studios, Rosie has been escaping to the offbeat world of Ballybeg in Ballybeg Post Office. This joyful development trial made the news in Broadcast, working with the exceptional Michael Stranney and Simon Craig to bring the world online. The team have discovered tens of thousands of Ballybeg fans across the world and since the below broadcast article below was published, Ballybeg’s debut video reached over 6.6 milllion views.

Evie by Evelyn Mok atThe Comedy Project, Soho Theatre

Whilst working with Me and You Productions Rosie has been developing Evelyn Mok's first sitcom Evie. It was selected by The Comedy Project 2017 to play in front of an audience at Soho Theatre, starring Nick Helm, Kae Alexander, Ed Easton, Bobby Mair, Jamali Maddix, Harriet Kemsley and Michael Stranney. Raymond wins a Lifetime and WFTV shorts award and is broadcast on the Lifetime network

This was the first year Lifetime ran this competition for female creatives and it was a great celebration of female talent. Short film Raymond is produced and written by Rosie, who is photographed with all the winners, Adara Tod, Megan K Fox, judge Michelle Collins and WFTV CEO Kate Kinninmont, Ruth Sewell, Charlotte Regan, overall winner Sarah Clift and Lauren Morton.

Sky Halloween Shorts broadcast

Two shorts co produced by Rosie, at Me and You productions, were broadcast on Sky Arts and are now live on Sky on Demand.

Scare BNB starring and written by Steen Raskopoulous, also starring Sarah Pascoe, John Kearns, Nish Kumar and Susie Youseff and Frightbusters, starring and written by Guz Khan also starring Alex Macqueen, Tom Palmer and Sunil Patel.

Spencer Jones’ Christmas scoops a Broadcast Digital Award; Best Scripted Online Short

Open Wide screens at the BFI at LOCO 2016

Written and produced by Rosie, comedy short Open Wide, was officially selected to play at the BFI as part of LOCO’s 2016 festival. It stars Lou Sanders, Ingrid Evans and Christine Edwards and has now been published by Comedy Central.

January 2015

Raymond plays at the BFI as part of LOCO and gets shortlisted for the shorts prize

Written and produced by Rosie, the film stars Daniel Simonsen, Spencer Jones and Harriet Kemsley and was made on a shoestring. The judges comment said it featured “well pitched performances and shooting which lay bear the primal fear of interacting with a stranger on a train. Simple, understated and straight to the point”.
